M +C Art Gallery Wedding at the Sterling Event Center

Thinking of an art gallery wedding? This was JUST the space you need. I recently helped Maggie and Cassy tie the knot at the Sterling Event Center in Denver, CO. It is located in the heart of downtown Denver, extremely close to the capital building and many bars + restaurants. Maggie had done event planning for her company herself, so when she saw this space she knew it was exactly what she wanted for her wedding day.

I got to meet the venue manager, Elizabeth who said she has been operating the art gallery since the 90’s with her husband. She then turned it into an event space in 2019 and holds events as large as 100 guests for extremely reasonable prices. Her staff was incredible at managing cleanup, being present for deliveries and overall engagement with my couple. It is a smaller space, so its usually used as a reception space only, but Maggie and Cassy were happy to let their guests sit at their dinner tables for the ceremony to make sure everything was in one location. The moving walls the venue has for art installations was extremely helpful to making the room exactly what we needed to fit everyone comfortably.

I was surprised to hear the Event Center is only advertised on Peerspace! It is a great spot for a microwedding, large reception or other types of events. We can’t wait until the next time to be there!
